Prototyping - From Concept to Part

In early development phases, geometry, materials, and manufacturing processes are often not yet finalized. Requirements may change, or testing may reveal new boundary conditions. At the same time, physical components are needed to verify function, interfaces, and load cases - before serial tooling or established production chains exist.

At this stage, we help you translate development concepts into manufacturable prototype components and manage their procurement.

Upon request, we create 3D models based on your sketches or drawings, or modify existing CAD models. Depending on the requirements, we optimize geometries for additive manufacturing, machining, or other production processes. Additionally, we provide guidance on suitable materials, tolerances, and cost-efficient manufacturing strategies.

As a one-stop engineering partner, we combine CAD design, manufacturing expertise, and a network of specialized production partners with a focus on prototypes and small series production.

Typical Project Workflow

1. Initial Consultation & Requirement Definition
You describe your component, its intended application, and technical requirements. During the initial discussion, we clarify functional objectives, operating conditions, tolerances, production quantities, and timeline.

2. Technical Analysis & Quotation
You provide your technical data.

We review the geometry, evaluate manufacturability, material options, and suitable production methods. Based on this, you receive a quotation including:

  • Recommended manufacturing process

  • Material recommendations

  • Estimated delivery time

  • Cost overview

3. Manufacturing & Quality Assurance
After your approval, production begins through our selected manufacturing partners. Before shipment, parts undergo internal quality inspection.
